PEOTTER'S PICKS

THIS GUIDE IS A TOOL

Updated 5/7/2022 – I will update from time to time

Many people ask for recommendations for voting because of my involvement in politics.  I am not trying to tell people how to vote I am merely sharing my opinion which is generally based on my Christian/Conservative/Rupublican (in that order) worldview, first-hand knowledge of the candidates or the issues.

I invite you to use this as one of your resources for your own research before voting.

ARE YOU MAD AT WHAT IS HAPPENING TO THE COUNTRY?

Voter Turnout is Everything

Remember, California has a "Top 2" primary system and the top 2 vote getters from June (regardless of party) move on to November. In some of these races we end up with 2 Republicans in November (or 2 Democrats). This really could depend on whether we turn out to vote.

Republicans are motivated to change. Democrats are generally embarrassed about this administration.

A great Republican/conservative turnout can help win in school board races and perhaps catch a Dem sleeping and have 2 Republicans on the ballot in November rather than a Dem and a Rep. BTW, Don’t tell your Dem friends about this….

JUST A WORD ABOUT VOTER FRAUD.

Is or Was there Voter Fraud in 2020? We have Tax Fraud, we have Bank Fraud, of course we have Voter Fraud. You would have to be an idiot to think there isn't any voter fraud. The question was always "is there ENOUGH VOTER FRAUD to change the outcome of the election?"

I believe that there was enough fraud in 2020 to change the outcome. I believe that it will become clearer in the next weeks. for example, check out Dinesh D'Souza's new movie "2000 Mules" at https://2000mules.com.

Many Voters like to vote in person, I encourage that. Just make sure that you vote.

Here are voter fraud solutions that are simple and recommended by many reform groups:

1.  Vote on one day only (election day would be nice)
2.  Vote in person with minimal exceptions (No absentee ballots, unless you have a hardship)
3.  Show voter ID in order to vote.
4.  ONLY paper ballots with electronic (counting machines only) that are NOT connected to the internet.

Governor's RACE

There are several Republicans running for CA governor. I like Brian Dahle, Anthony Trimino, and Jenny Rae Leroux. They would all make great Governors and all would be better than the over-control, power hungry, grease head current governor Gavin Newsome. Mask mandates, open schools, gas taxes, traditional families, emergency powers, you name it, Newsome is on the wrong side of the issue.

Brian Dahle as the current minority leader in the senate, is probably the most likely to give Newsome a challenge, but it will be next to impossible in this blue state. Brian is a conservative and pro-family and has out-raised all his challengers. You might think in an ideal world that electability would not be part of the equation, but what good is a candidate or your vote for that candidate, if they cannot get elected.

STATE RACES

Lieutenant Governor
ANGELA UNDERWOOD JACOBS

Sec of State
RACHEL HAMM
Rachel is really talented and pro-family. She has taken on the voter fraud of the 2020 elections. The SOS is the statewide office that makes sure that the elections are fair and accountable. If there was any statewide office that needs to turn Red it is this office. Rachel is the one for this office.
Controller
 LANHEE CHEN

Treasurer
JACK M. GUERRERO

State Attorney General
ERIC EARLY

BOEqualization 4th District
ERIK PETERSON
Erik is a Huntington Beach City Councilman in his 2 term. This Board of Equalization position is as a taxpayer advocate. The State Legislature has stripped this office of much of its duties. What we want here is a candidate that will take the fight to the legislature and stand up for taxpayers. Utilize his staff to educate and inform the legislature. Erik is that guy. He has a history of standing up to the liberals on his council and has great grass roots support.
Superintendent of Public Instruction
LANCE RAY CHRISTIANSEN
Lance came from a think tank and understands how the public school system has not only gone astray but is actually pitted itself against parents and their wishes. Lance is very pro-family, pro-parent's rights and understands with the code says and how to fight bureaucracies.

FEDERAL RACES

U.S. Senate
Mark Meuser
This is the seat vacated by Vice President Kamila Harris. Long time democrat Alex Padilla was appointed by Newsome. This has a "Partial" seat and a fulltime seat. The partial seat is literally for 30 days. The full time seat is the important seat. Longshot to unseat Padilla in  such a blue state, but with a giant RED Wave anything is possible.
38th District:
Eric Ching
Mayor of Walnut with a small part of OC in his district.
40th District:
Greg Raths
Greg is a retired USMC Colonel, conservative, pro-life and strong defense guy, going against Young Kim. Young Kim (Republican) voted with Pelosi and the Democrats to support stripping fellow Republican congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene of her committee assignments
45th District:
Michele Steel
Michele is our current Congresswoman who upset Harley Rouda in 2020. She is a great conservative. She was born in Korea, raised in Japan and moved to the US, where she witnessed in her parents business what regulations do to small businesses. She is a true taxfighter.
46 th District:
Christopher Gonzales
Tough Dem district, but he is a good conservative, pro-life republican Hispanic, in a mostly Hispanic district, A long shot, but a great fit for the district.
47th District:
Scott Baugh
Scott is taking on the very AOC type liberal, Katie Porter,
49th District
Brian Maryott
Brian is going against a liberal Dem in this San Diego/OC district. Not as conservative as I would like but so much better than the Dem. He will do a great job in the Congress. In a really tough race as the San Diego portion of the district is not so conservative.

CALIFORNIA STATE RACES

STATE SENATE

34th State Senate
Rhonda Shader
Value
36th State Senate
Janet Nguyen
Janet is the Republican that replaced Republican Tyler Diep after he got elected 4 years ago and then proceeded to vote like a Dem. In fact the Dems almost didn't run a candidate here because Tyler was voting Dem. Janet stepped up and ran and beat Tyler in the March primary. She is a strong Republican, now she is running for Senate.

STATE ASSEMBLY

59th Assembly District
Phillip Chen
Incumbent, great for business and conservative issues. Has done a great job in the Assembly.
67th Assembly District
Soo Yoo
Value
68th Assembly District

Value
70th Assembly District
Emily Hibard
After considering this for a while I am convinced that Emily is the true conservative in this race and has a good chance of being victorious in June.
72nd Assembly District
Benjamin Yu
Diane Dixon is the lead for this office, After serving with her for 4 years and seeing her disloyalty and self serving attitude I cannot vote for her. She is likely to win, but I am voting for Benjamin as a protest vote.
73rd Assembly District
Steven "Steve" Choi
Incumbent, strong pro-family candidate, and a personal friend. Very liberal (AOC type) attorney and current Irvine councilwoman, This is a new district and it takes into it UCI. This will be a tough race for Steven and he needs your help. Cottie Petrie Norris moved from her coastal home into this district because she believes it will be easier for her.
74th Assembly District
Laurie Davies
Laurie has established herself as a force in the Assembly already. She is a hard worker and one of the go to Republicans in the Assembly. She is a good conservative and does not compromise her ideology in Sacramento (rare in that town). Whole hearted support for Laurie.

ORANGE COUNTY RACES

O.C. Board of Education
Tim Shaw
Lisa Sparks
Mari Barke

Major battle over this board between liberals/teachers unions and the conservative majority. THese are 3 of the 4-1 majority that conservatives enjoy. This is the board that allows charter schools which the unions hate.
OC SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS:
Dr. Stefan Bean
Value
O.C. Board of Supervisors #2
Cecilia Iglesias
O.C. Board of Supervisors #4
Steven Vargas
THe true conservative and the only one with a chance of getting rid of liberal Doug Chaffee
O.C. Board of Supervisors #5
Kevin Muldoon
Kevin is part of the next generation of leaders in the Republican Party. A good Pro-Family Conservative. There are 2 South County women running in this race in an attempt to get rid of liberal Katrina Foley. No one is likely to get 50%+1 in June, so there will be a runoff. So the real race in June is to see who gets to run against Foley in November.

Kevin is endorsed by the Conservative California Republican Assemby.

Kevin is the guy.
Assessor
Claude Parrish
Claude is running for re-election. He is doing a great job.
Auditor Controller
Andrew Hamilton
Andrew is a dear friend and has drawn no opponent. He is a conservative who will represent the taxpayers well in this watchdog position.
Clerk-Recorder
Hugh Nguyen
Hugh is running for re-election. He has done a great job and deserves your support.
District Attorney
Todd Spitzer
Todd is going for re-election. He has done a great job his first term and is being challenged by a George Soros close of LA D.A. Gascon, who is trying to be recalled.

Gascon is being recalled because he isn't doing his job of prosecuting criminals. The police arrest the bad guys, but Gascon refuses to prosecute, based on his ideology of there are too many people in prison.

Todd actually prosecutes and puts bad guys behind bars.

It is important that Todd wins in June so that there is no runoff election in November. Tell George Soros that he is not welcome here!
Sheriff-Coroner
Don Barnes
Don has done a very good job in running the sheriff's office. He should be re-elected

Treasurer-Tax Collector
Shari Freidenrich
Shari has continued many of John Moorlach's practices in the treasurers' office and then some. She is running for her 3rd term and is a great caretaker of the taxpayer's money.

CITY MEASURES

Newport Beach Measure B
Vote to directly elect the mayor
YES
It is always better when the people have a choice. The Mayor's position is mostly symbolic, but they do represent the city and act as main spokesman for the council. The people should elect the mayor directly. This does not give the mayor any more power than any other councilman.
